**Art in the Open: Celebrating Women in Art at the 16th Edition Graced by Veteway Designs**

The 16th edition of *Art in the Open*, held at The Village Market Food Court, was a vibrant celebration of women in art, showcasing creativity, resilience, and innovation. This year’s edition, graced by the esteemed **Veteway Designs**, brought together talented female artists, designers, and art enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience.

Under the theme *Women in Art*, the event highlighted the powerful contributions of women to Kenya’s creative industry. From bold paintings and intricate sculptures to contemporary fashion and mixed-media installations, the exhibition was a testament to the diverse perspectives of female artists. Veteway Designs, known for its elegant and Afrocentric aesthetic, added a touch of sophistication with a special showcase of their latest collection, blending art and wearable fashion.

Attendees enjoyed live art demonstrations, interactive workshops, and engaging panel discussions on breaking barriers in the art world. The open-air setting of The Village Market Food Court provided the perfect backdrop, allowing art to be accessible and appreciated in a relaxed, communal atmosphere.

*Art in the Open* continues to be a platform for emerging and established artists to connect, inspire, and thrive. This edition, in particular, celebrated the fearless spirit of women who use art to tell stories, challenge norms, and shape culture.
