*Celebrating African Heritage: Veteway Designs Shines at Nairobi National Museum Exhibition**

Nairobi’s iconic National Museum transformed into a vibrant tapestry of culture and creativity last weekend as **Veteway Designs** unveiled its latest collection of clothing and apparel accessories. The exhibition, titled *“Threads of Tradition, Visions of Tomorrow,”* celebrated authentic African print fashion while bridging the gap between contemporary style and timeless artistry.

Visitors were greeted by a dazzling array of **bold Ankara-print dresses**, intricately beaded handbags, and the brand’s signature mini duffle bags, each piece crafted with precision by local artisans. The showcase emphasized sustainability, spotlighting ethically sourced materials and partnerships with Kenyan craftsmen.

A unique highlight was the fusion of fashion and literature: shelves adorned with curated books on African textile history, design philosophy, and folktales complemented the apparel displays. Attendees could flip through works by renowned authors like Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o or explore illustrated guides on traditional dyeing techniques.

Interactive workshops allowed guests to try their hand at beadwork or design their own print patterns, while models in Veteway’s vibrant ensembles mingled with the crowd, embodying the brand’s ethos of “wearable art.”

“This isn’t just fashion—it’s a storytelling medium,” remarked founder Verine Jumah. “Every stitch honors our roots, and every accessory carries a piece of Africa’s soul.”

The event drew designers, cultural enthusiasts, and tourists alike, cementing Veteway Designs as a pioneer in preserving heritage through modern innovation. For those who missed it, the exhibition’s pop-up shop remains open at the museum through the month—a perfect stop to own a slice of African elegance.
